Tereza Dekojová, MD

Tereza Dekojová, MD

University Hospital Pilsen and Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen, Charles University

Dr. Dekojová is a senior clinician responsible for clinical trials and her goal is to implement iNKT adoptive cell therapy as a treatment and prophylaxis for graft-versus-host disease. She also studies the biology of iNKT cells in myeloma patients who are treated with autologous transplantation.

Filip Jani, MSc

Filip Jani, MSc

Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of West Bohemia

Filip Jani is a researcher with experience in software development, process design and information systems design. He focuses on the design and implementation of technical frameworks necessary for clinical application, data management, design of SW tools and actual implementation and integration of essential components, such as data analysis pipelines.

Tomáš Kříž, MD

Tomáš Kříž, MD

University Hospital Pilsen and Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen, Charles University

Dr. Kříž’s is PhD candidate in Dr. Holubova's Lab and his main field of interest is iNKT cells in the context of immunoreconstitution after hematopoietic stem cell transplant. He is involved in the preparation of a clinical trial using iNKTs as an adoptive cell therapy and is scholar in the Clinical Research Training in Hematology (CRTH) program organized by the European Hematology Association (EHA).

Jack Swain

Jack Swain

Department of Pathobiology, University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine

Jack Swain is a research specialist in the Department of Pathobiology at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. His work focuses on isolating and optimizing iNKT cells to enhance their in vivo persistence, tumor localization, and effector function. He is interested in understanding the mechanisms that govern iNKT cell activity and applying these insights to advance the development of iNKT-based immunotherapies.

Eoin Christopher Whelan, PhD

Eoin Christopher Whelan, PhD

University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Whelan is a senior research investigator with expertise in single-cell RNA and multiomics sequencing analyses. He is interested in using single-cell technologies to elucidate mechanisms involved in germ cell development and regeneration, with potential implications for the treatment of therapy-induced infertility in cancer patients. Dr. Whelan is currently collaborating on studies centered on iNKT immunobiology at the University of Pennsylvania. By leveraging single-cell technologies, he aims to gain a deeper understanding of basic biological processes to design more effective therapeutics.

Kateřina Wolf, MSc

Kateřina Wolf, MSc

Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of West Bohemia

Kateřina Wolf is a researcher, bioinformatician and PhD candidate in Dr. Houdova's team. She focuses on data analysis and framework design, especially related to the processing of sequencing and clinical data. Her main interest is finding ways for computer scientists to streamline processes for biologists and clinicians, bringing them faster and simpler data analysis solutions.
